This creative event is open to all skill levels. Activities include flower crown making, portrait painting and plant pot decorating. Come along for fun activities and socialising. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
NTAR and PROPS are working together to deliver a Service User and Carer Joint SMART Group providing a supportive space for shared learning and recovery-focused discussion.

Join organisations from across Newcastle to explore the challenges affecting our communities and how we can work together to create a more inclusive recovery city and region. You'll have the opportunity to connect with local partners and share experiences, have honest conversations about addiction, recovery and stigma, explore practical ways to support your workforce and communities, and learn how your organisation can help create positive change.
Join us for a special preview event featuring the first opportunity to view the “Your City, Your Recovery” exhibition and a live performance by local musician Nev Clay.
The harm reduction service delivers a range of open access and confidential support for drug and alcohol users. You can access support such as needle and syringe exchange, nursing support, blood-borne virus testing, and access to naloxone. You will also get lots of advice or information, and the staff will work with other services to support your needs.
A day conference exploring how lived experience can inform successful outcomes in treatment and recovery, with sessions on Bradford's recovery history, stories of hope from people with lived experience, "Inclusive Recovery Cities and Social Contagion" (David Best), the role of Lived Experience Recovery Organisations (LEROs), and the future recovery landscape.
Celebrate Recovery Month through books, stories and creativity. Drop in, discover new reads, create a zine, and connect with others in a welcoming space.
The UK's national Recovery Walk, celebrating community, unity, inclusion and hope. A Recovery Village with stalls and activities opens through the day at Centenary Square, with the walk itself departing at midday on a route through Bradford city centre (a long route and a shorter route avoiding the incline are both available).

Come along and help us care for the Secret Garden (the garden behind Millfield House, Jesmond Dene), learn how gardening can support your wellbeing, and take part in some fun nature-based activities. No previous experience is needed and tools/PPE will be provided — the only essential requirement is a willingness to work hard as part of a team!

A Newcastle Support into Volunteering project celebration. Take some time to chat, connect, and enjoy a hot drink with others in the community alongside some nature-based wellbeing activities. Everyone is welcome! Whether you'd like to get involved in gardening, meet new people, or simply enjoy a cuppa and a conversation, we'd love to see you there. No previous experience needed and tools/PPE will be provided.
Come get involved in: exploring Gibside, a wellbeing walk, low ropes, den building and a play park for the youngsters along with many more games and activities, soundbath, exploring the beautiful green spaces Gibside has to offer, and mindfulness sessions.
On the 4th Sunday of every month, we meet at 4pm for our Recovery Service, which will include worship, communion, and time in small groups.

The Revival Recovery Community Awards recognise those who go beyond their day-to-day roles to address the issues that truly matter, demonstrating commitment, kindness and resilience in support of lasting community impact.
