Stim Café Late Summer Wellbeing Picnic
Stim Café
Based in Tyne and Wear, Stim Café creates stim-friendly social spaces and fun workshops for the Neurodivergent community. No diagnosis is needed, we welcome and champion anyone who self-identifies as Neurodivergent, including Autistic, ADHD, Dyslexic, Dyspraxic, OCD, and more.
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming Late Summer Wellbeing Picnic! Come to socialise, get creative, explore wellbeing, or simply enjoy some food and fresh air. We'll also be marking Recovery Month, with optional information and signposting for mental health and recovery services, gently exploring the links between Neurodivergence, masking, overwhelm and substance use, and sharing support for anyone who may need it.
This is a drop-in event, come and go anytime between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. Indoor and outdoor spaces are available, so we'll be there whatever the weather! Expect a Sensory, Wellbeing & Recovery Zone, creative activities (rock painting, colouring, Lego, jigsaws), Twister, limbo and a Mindful Mini-Rave (7:00–7:15pm), a Special Interest Show & Tell Station, and a picnic spread of sandwiches, snacks, fruit, veg, dips, biscuits, cake, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks. Dietary requirements can be catered for, let us know in advance on the booking form, and you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
